Woodlands Cemetery with Emily T Cooperman, MS, PHD - 4000 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 191044/26/2016 Final Charrette Pass through the gates and into an alee of trees to reinforce the formal entrance and emphasis the definition of an arboretum: a place with a variety of woody plants, cultivated for exhibition and education. Position the artistic, stenciled metal sign so that it is visible as soon as you enter as a reminder of the art once housed in the gallery building, set the tone for the unique specimens to be viewed, and draw the visitor forward. Establish a perimeter walk to connect the two sides of the driveway. Keep the perennials in the formal garden and the herbs in the medicinal garden. |
